Exhibition “Bilderlingshof-Bilderiņi-Bulduri”
The exhibition introduces both known and previously unknown events, facts, and images that tell the story of Bulduri. The authors of the exhibition do not claim to provide a comprehensive historical account, as this is merely the beginning of further research on Bulduri, with the aim of creating a permanent exhibition in larger spaces. There is still a lack of information, and many uncertainties and mysteries remain, like the Bulduri coin deposit showcased in the exhibition, which have not yet been fully deciphered.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with the Latvian National History Museum, the Latvian National Museum of Art, the Ģederts Eliass Jelgava History and Art Museum, the Latvian State Archive of Audiovisual Documents, and the Latvian Railway Company. Images from the Latvian National Library and the visual material collection of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia were also used. The authors of the exhibition are Inta Baumane, Līga Strazda, Egita Cironoka, and artist Gundars Gulbis.
The Jūrmala Museum invites Bulduri residents, Jūrmala locals, and other interested parties to participate in creating the new Bulduri exhibition by sharing their memories, information, and items.
The exhibition “Bilderlingshof-Bilderiņi-Bulduri” is open from October 27 to December 30, 2024.
