On 15 July, at 5:00 p.m. the opening of the travelling exhibition “The International Folklore Festival “Baltica” in Latvia for the Tenth Time” took place. It is a story about the ten “Baltica” festivals held in Latvia
The opening of the exhibition was attended by the folklore group “Grodi”, the folklore and friends’ group “Skandinieki”, the folklore and ancient warriors’ group “Vilkači”, and the folklore group “Budēļi”; there was also a communal singing event with the “Teikas muzikanti” ensemble.
Idea author and project manager – Līga Miķelsone; project coordinator – Evija Lūse, artist – Līga Rudava, curator – Ieva Saulīte.
The exhibition is on view from 15 July to 2 August in Dome Square.
