Latakko turns 25. Why was the company ranked among Latvia’s TOP 50 best employers and TOP 100 companies and recognised as socially responsible in 2019?

On 4 October 2019, the Latvian company Latakko celebrates its 25th anniversary. The company’s CEO, Yevgeny Kopilkov, notes that during this time the company has overcome at least three crises, donated at least €100,000 to Latvian society, planted 20 trees in Āgenskalns and expanded its operations throughout the Baltic region.

Success is based on energetic teamwork

"Our main asset is our people. Modern, great and open-minded. Today, 280 employees work in the Latakko holding company, 42 of whom have been with us for more than 10 years. In 2019, we ranked 32nd among Latvia’s TOP 50 employers. I have always been inspired by the people who work on the Latakko team. None of the results we have achieved would have been possible without their talent and the energy they have invested.

Road safety, care for the environment and €100,000 in donations to children

"Over the course of 25 years, we have implemented several social projects both independently and in cooperation with our partners. We are particularly proud of the charity project "Tyres with a Heart". In cooperation with our partners from the Pirelli Key Point network, we have donated more than €100,000 to the Children’s Clinical University Hospital and saved the lives of many children.

Five years ago, we planted 20 trees in Āgenskalns, by Māras Pond. This year, continuing the tradition, we will plant five more. Together with Latakko’s customers, we care not only about road safety, but also about the environment. I am proud of our results and inspired by them".
