Latvian production agency releases two songs competing for Tonna Awards 2016 on the same day

The new Latvian production agency AL&C Stage Production has released two produced songs at once, although the songs are in Russian, as they are competing for the Tonna Awards 2016 prize.

“We primarily work with Latvian repertoire; this time is an exception,” explains production assistant Ludmila Meļentjeva. “One of the songs—Millions Are Given Love—has previously been performed in Latvian, and a video clip was also made for the Latvian-language version. The second song was created spontaneously, but we are pleased with the result. Our songs have been included in two nominations, and in one of them we are currently the voting leaders. We hope for the listeners’ support and victory!”

AL&C Stage Production reports that the songs were created for submission in the Tonna Awards 2016 nominations, but later this month Latvian listeners will be delighted by yet another new original song by Aleks Silvers and Liera Štein, for which a music video was recently filmed.

The songs are being composed by composer and producer Dmitry Krasnovsky. Dmitry was recently appointed the official composer of the Pop Stage Riga 2016 singing competition, for which he must compose a song for the winner of the Grand Prix—Roman Starodubtsev.
