Two major conferences to be streamed online from Cēsis in March

Two online conferences are scheduled for March, and both will take place in the same week – "Cilvēkfaktors" on 18 March and "Subject: Creativity" on 19 March. The conferences will be broadcast live from the Vidzeme Concert Hall "Cēsis".
It should be noted that the conference archive will be available to all participants until 1 April, in case they are unable to watch all the lectures on the day they take place. The future challenges conference "Cilvēkfaktors" will feature experienced business leaders, practitioners in the fields of leadership and communication, as well as psychotherapists, who will discuss the hot topic of the moment – mental health and its impact on work processes, as well as team management during this tense period. The speakers will include Sven Dinsdorfs, director of "ELKO grupa"; Sanita Osipova, President of the Constitutional Court; Kaspars Kauliņš, head of business development at "Tilde" and a consultant on leadership and organisational development; and Diana Zande, a psychologist and cognitive behavioural therapist, among others. The conference is scheduled to begin at 10:00 on Thursday, 18 March, and will run until 16:30.
"This year, the conference’s main theme will be how to lead a company’s most important resource – one’s team – at a time when each of us wants kindness, empathy, simplicity and peace, while everyday working life unfolds amid uncertainty, change, risks and unpredictability. We will also discuss how to cope with the leadership role demanded by circumstances and the situation of organisations," says the conference project manager. The creativity conference "Subject: Creativity" will take place a day later, on 19 March, from 10:00 to 16:30. It will address the challenges of creative work and inspiration, as well as the impact of the pandemic and the changes it has introduced into cultural life. Conference participants will be invited to develop their creativity by learning from Latvia’s leading creative-industry representatives and their experience. The speakers will include musician, composer and singer Jānis Šipkēvics Jr.; Juris Rubenis, founder and lecturer at the Integral Education Institute; Georgs Rubenis, a board member of the Plecs Foundation; Lolita Ritmanis, a Latvian-born American composer; Viesturs Kairišs, artistic director of the Daile Theatre; Juris Žagars, director of the Daile Theatre; Dita Rietuma, director of the National Film Centre and film critic; and actress and director Dita Lūriņa-Egliena, among others.
