The owner of SIA Meduspils is beekeeper Jānis Vainovskis, with 29 years of experience in beekeeping. Various honey products are produced here: honey with berries, pollen, beeswax candles, bee bread, and more. A special pride of SIA Meduspils is their innovative product – honey with berries, rhubarb, and ginger. Using a special technology, the berries are not pasteurized or cooked, preserving their nutritional value, color, taste, and aroma.

If you want to learn more, everyone interested is invited to sign up for a tour. The duration of the tour depends on the group size and ranges from one to two hours.

The tour includes:

discovering the diversity of honey by participating in a monofloral honey tasting;

tasting natural honey blends created using Meduspils' innovative technology;

in the summer season, the opportunity to try your hand at uncapping honeycombs and honey extraction;

dressing up in beekeeper outfits;

making friends with bees – observing bee colonies and taking photos;

an adrenaline-inducing attraction “Riča.”

The property also has a free picnic area, but a fee applies if you wish to light a campfire. Thus, a visit to Meduspils can be combined with a picnic and pleasant relaxation in nature.

During the winter period, the factory offers creative workshops for making beeswax candles and candies. Both locals and guests are warmly invited to taste, smell, and create their own!
