Miezīte Library Launches the “Flower Book” Project

During Library Week, Miezīte Library is launching the “Flower Book” project, which will result in the creation of a flower bed beside the library.

The library reports that the flower bed will be created with the involvement of readers. Until 24 April, readers are invited to write in the comments on Facebook the titles of books whose names mention flowers—these are the plants that will later be planted in the flower bed beside the library building at 100A Dobeles Highway, Jelgava.

Continuing the flower theme of Library Week at Miezīte Library, a plant exchange will take place there on 24 April from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Those interested in participating are asked to register in advance by calling 63083155. The flower exchange will take place outdoors beside the library, in compliance with all epidemiological safety requirements.
