Children’s programme “Lellīte Lolīte” at Jelena Mikhailova’s Doll Gallery, 21 Daugavpils Street.
Pupils from the fourth grades of Preiļi Primary School will perform Rainis’s poems from the collection “Lellīte Lolīte”.
The Preiļi Municipality Children and Youth Centre pop group “Lāsītes” and members of the vocal studio “Mazās lāsītes” will sing. Leader: Daina Erte.
Bring your favourite doll or teddy bear and come along! Competitions and surprises for children.
Tonight only! Meet the dolls created by Jelena Mikhailova free of charge.

An open-air exhibition of works from the drawing competition dedicated to Rainis and Aspazija, held among schools in Preiļi Municipality, can be viewed at 26 Raiņa Boulevard.
Award ceremony for the competition winners.

Do you enjoy the works of Rainis and Aspazija? Don’t let the words go to waste. Come and take part! In a relaxed and informal setting, you will be able to read and present your favourite poem by Rainis or Aspazija, sing your own song, or perhaps put on an entertaining performance with your friends. You will be able to realise all your creative ideas and share them with others in the poetry square in the Raiņa Boulevard park next to the cultural centre.

Talks about dowry chests and a bride’s dowry. Participants include Aija Jansone, Head of the Ethnology Department of the Latvian Academy of Culture, and Inese Kundziņa, an art education methodologist at the Art Academy of Latvia.
Come and find out how valuable the dowry of Jānis Pliekšāns’s temptress T[eklīte] was.

Mārga invites you to come and say hello. At the museum’s open educational repository at 4 A. Paulāna Street. Competitions, puzzles, riddles and unbelievable stories. Little-known facts about Rainis, Aspazija, weddings and dowries.
We will weave special flower wreaths for Rainis and Aspazija. Each flower will conceal the title of one of the poets’ works. The winner will be the person who weaves the lushest, longest and largest flower garland.
The youngest visitors will be invited to look through Teklīte’s dowry from Jasmuiža and dress up the doll Teklīte for her own and Rainis’s 150th birthday.
The Aspazija Salon will be open. A wedding photograph of Aspazija will be on display, with an opportunity to dress up and have your photograph taken.
Wedding and serenading songs will be performed by the “Rūtoj” folklore ensemble of Preiļi State Gymnasium. Leader: Ilze Rožinska

Traditional Museum Night soup, “Aspazija’s Brew”, for all visitors at the bonfire at 4 A. Paulāna Street.
This year, the soup will be prepared by the chefs of the Preiļi branch of the Riga Tourism and Creative Industries Technical School.

The museum exhibitions “Preiļi in the Mirrors of the Centuries” at 28 Raiņa Boulevard and “A Lifetime Turned on a Lathe” at 21 Talsu Street, as well as the Preiļi Manor Chapel, will be open.
Start the model aircraft “Ilya Muromets” at the exhibition “Jāzeps Baško – Air Coachman” in the museum of Preiļi Primary School at 34 Daugavpils Street.
