From 15 June, people with a negative COVID-19 test will also be able to attend public events. Children under 12 years of age will not need to take a test to attend events together with their parents. Certain safety requirements will have to be observed at such events.
On 10 June, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to allow people with a negative COVID-19 test, as well as parents with children, to attend public events.
From 15 June, by presenting a digital COVID-19 certificate, public events may be attended by people who:
- have been vaccinated against COVID-19;
- have recovered from COVID-19 within the past six months;
- have taken a COVID-19 test within the past 48 hours and it is negative;
- have taken a rapid COVID-19 antigen test within the past six hours and it is negative;
Until 1 August 2021, COVID-19 tests will be paid for from the state budget. For children under 18, COVID-19 tests will be paid for from the state budget until 1 September 2021.
What requirements must be observed from 15 June at events attended by children and people with negative COVID-19 tests?
The rules adopted earlier provide for the possibility of organising an event exclusively for vaccinated visitors or those who have recovered from COVID-19. In that case, organisers are not subject to any specific requirements—the main thing is to verify vaccination or recovery status, and the staff themselves must also meet these requirements.
