Designating the Place of Performance of Duties for Newly Appointed Judge Sindija Zemīte

On Thursday, August 22, the Judicial Council decided that the newly appointed judge Sindija Zemīte will perform her duties at the Riga District Court in Riga.

Sindija Zemīte was appointed as a judge of the district (city) court by the decision of the Latvian Parliament on June 13, 2024.

The decision on the place of performance of duties for Judge Sindija Zemīte was made by the Judicial Council in writing.

Based on the Parliament's decision to appoint a judge to the position of a district (city) court judge, the Judicial Council designates a specific district (city) court or its courthouse as the place of performance of duties within the court's jurisdiction.
