To receive a personalised invitation to participate in the forum, those interested must register by 19 April by writing to nvo@liepaja.lv. A registration link for participation in the forum will later be sent to the email address provided.

This year’s forum is entitled “Liepāja’s Civic Participation Leader.” The forum will take place on 21 April from 15:00 to 17:30.

During the forum, various topics important to NGOs, Liepāja’s active residents, the municipality and the city as a whole will be examined and discussed. Topics including “An Opportunity to Shape Liepāja Ourselves”, “Meaningful Involvement in Urban Planning” and “Leadership – What Qualities and Habits Need to Be Developed by a 21st-Century Leader?” will be examined and presented.

The forum’s special guest will be Hana Besbes, head of the Dubai Angels Association and Chief Investment Officer at Heal Capital, who works with business leaders in Dubai. Heal Capital is one of Europe’s leading specialised investment funds in the field of integrated medical technologies, with total investments of EUR 100 million and the support of private German health insurance companies.

A discussion is also planned during the forum. At the lecturers’ suggestion, the person who asks the most interesting question will receive a prize.

The forum will be moderated by V. Brūveris. The online broadcast of the forum will be provided by the company “Interactio”. Translation from English into Latvian will be provided at the forum.
