Local Gourmets Enjoy Body Art at an Elegant Ice Cream Presentation
On Thursday, 30 May, the newly opened Medus gastrobar hosted a celebration marking the opening of the Magnum season and the presentation of the brand’s new ice cream. The event brought together a number of discerning ice cream enthusiasts, including local media representatives, bloggers, socialites and opinion leaders, who hastened to enjoy the event’s sophisticated atmosphere. The charming and always positive Liepāja Theatre actress Samira Adgezalova took on the role of host, while DJ Stocka provided energetic musical rhythms, creating a truly summery atmosphere in the venue. This was complemented not only by delicious Magnum ice creams, but also by cocktails created to match them by Māris Locāns, Moët & Hennessy’s official bartender.
This season, the Magnum brand has introduced several long-awaited new products, one of which is the White Chocolate & Cookies ice cream, featuring a crunchy white chocolate and cookie crumb coating and a delicately creamy filling. It combines a unique range of flavours and can captivate even the most demanding gourmets. To make an even more striking introduction to the new season, Magnum has joined forces this year with the local body art brand Allure Art, resulting in three special art kits inspired by the shades of Magnum ice creams. Well-known representatives of the creative industries became ambassadors of this collaboration: Magnum brand ambassadors Maija Silova and the Twins, as well as Ieva Adamss and her husband Arnis Lejiņš, Lelde and Aivis Ceriņš, and the event’s host, Samira Adgezalova. They were the first to create their own unique works of art in shades of gold, brown, beige and soft pink, presenting them during the evening while sharing vivid impressions of the painting process and revealing their sources of inspiration.
Alongside the presentation of the works of art, guests were also treated to an expressive contemporary dance performance by a pair of dancers from the Dance Pro X studio. During the emotional performance, their bodies covered in paint created another colourful Magnum x Allure Art painting. Throughout the evening, those present also enjoyed various refreshing cocktails created by the skilful bartender Māris Locāns in honour of the Magnum brand. They paired perfectly with the different ice cream flavours, creating an unforgettable combination of tastes. The biggest gourmets could make their Magnum ice creams especially unique by decorating them with sauces and other carefully selected toppings to suit every taste. As usual, the colourful event was attended in large numbers by a host of Magnum ice cream enthusiasts, including artist Ieva Bondare, model and beauty pageant contestant Diāna Kubasova, showman Mārtiņš Kapzems, Magnum ambassador and cake designer Anna Birmane, stylist and author of the inspirational blog Morethansize.com Indra Salceviča, musician Alekss Silvērs and many others.
The special Magnum x Allure Art body art kits are available in a limited edition for purchase on the website www.allure-art.com. You can follow Magnum’s latest news on the brand’s Facebook account https://www.facebook.com/magnumlatvija/.
