The Preiļi Museum of History and Applied Arts Receives the “Zelta puteklis 2015” Award

On 27 May this year, the laureates of the Latvian Museums Association’s (LMA) annual “Zelta puteklis 2015” awards were announced and honoured during the Museum Day event at the Turaida Museum Reserve. The Preiļi Museum of History and Applied Arts received the award in the “Art Exhibition of the Year 2015” category for its exhibition of the competition for the Jāzeps Pīgoznis Award “For the Best Landscape Painting in Latvia”.
The LMA annual “Zelta puteklis” award was presented for the sixth time, with the aim of promoting the sustainable and high-quality development of the museum sector in Latvia.
