Press conference to announce upcoming exhibition of works by Italian innovator artist Daniele Donde in Riga

On 20 September at 1:00 p.m., a press conference dedicated to the exhibition of works by contemporary Italian artist Daniele Donde in Riga will take place in the Arden conference hall of the Pullman Old Town Riga hotel (24 Jēkaba Street). In his signature technique, the artist uses gold, silver, Swarovski crystals, and other precious and semi-precious stones, creating lavish works of art in which jewellery art and glamour converge.
Some of the collection will already be on display during the Riga Ball, which will take place on 17 September at the House of the Blackheads. Several works were created especially for this event, including portraits of Riga Deputy Mayor Andris Amerika and the ball’s patron, Natālija Tumševica. Anyone interested can view Daniele Donde’s works from 20 to 25 September on the first floor of the Pullman Old Town Riga hotel.
The press conference will be attended by:
Daniele Donde, artist and director of the Kristal&Glam art gallery;
Boris Mancastroppa, artistic director of the Kristal&Glam gallery;
Natālija Tumševica, exhibition organiser and head of the “Royal Events” association.
After the press conference, all those present will be able to view the exhibition of artworks.
The collection of Daniele Donde’s works has arrived here from Monte Carlo, where it was exhibited at the Fairmont hotel. It has been supplemented with unique works created especially for the Riga exhibition. The exhibition includes the artist’s best-known works, including portraits of Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Marilyn Monroe; unique violins—reproductions of authentic instruments from the Stradivari school—from the THE STRADIVARI ROCK collection. Cellos, mandolins, and guitars from Donde’s latest “Pear flowers” collection are also on display. Adorned with thousands of pearls, they have been transformed into lavish artworks created using his signature technique.
Daniele Donde’s works are held in the collections of many famous athletes, politicians, and representatives of the film industry, including Frank Sinatra, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sophia Loren, Roger Moore, and other art enthusiasts. Donde lives and works in Lugano, St. Moritz, Monte Carlo, Monaco, Dubai, and Tokyo, where his art galleries and studios are located.
