Printify ceremoniously opens the company’s new office in Tallinn
At the end of last week, Latvia-based print-on-demand company Printify officially opened its second office, located in one of Tallinn’s fastest-growing technology districts. During the six years since the company was founded, it has experienced rapid growth, enabling more than 3 million individual entrepreneurs from around the world to build their own online businesses. The opening event for the new office was attended by a number of representatives of the Baltic startup community, who came together to celebrate the company’s success and expansion into the neighboring country.
At the end of last year, Printify closed a Series A investment round, raising a total of USD 50 million in funding. In addition to several experienced angel investors and company founders from the Baltic region to Silicon Valley, the company’s development has also been supported by leading Estonian technology giants such as Bolt, Wise, Pipedrive, and others.
Printify’s headquarters remain in Riga, while the company’s team consists of more than 650 industry professionals from around the world. In line with the company’s remote-work model, they can choose whether to work each day from the office in the Spīķeri Quarter or from any other suitable location, an option preferred by approximately half of all employees. Meanwhile, Printify’s Estonian team already comprises more than 30 employees. They previously worked from the Lift99 coworking space, but will now be able to work from a 350 m² office located in the modern Ellips Maja building, in one of Tallinn’s fastest-growing business districts.
“Estonia’s startup ecosystem has traditionally served as a successful example from which to draw inspiration for world-class business ideas. It is also home to a number of truly strong industry professionals, and we are proud that Printify’s Estonian team consists of dozens of talented colleagues, including team leaders representing various areas of operation. This is a market with enormous potential, where we too see extensive opportunities for growth, and the opening of the Tallinn office is a strategically important step toward further success—not only in Europe, but around the world,” comments Printify founder and CEO Jānis Berdigans.
