Riga’s Summer of Courage and Joy

Riga’s 2022 summer cultural programme will awaken courage and foster joy over the course of two months.

On 20 August, one of the most important events of this summer’s celebrations will take place in Riga – at the “Riga Birthday Picnic”, visitors will be able to sit at long, delicious celebration tables and, with food brought by the guests themselves, create a shared birthday atmosphere.

Neighbourhood festivals will take place over several days, along with musical, entertainment and educational events in Vērmanes Garden, Viesturdārzs, Mazjumprava Manor  and elsewhere.
