Riga’s foodies celebrate the grilling season at a lively burger party

On Thursday, 9 July, the Hellmann’s brand’s barbecue party took place on the welcoming terrace of “OSTA – Restaurant with a View” in Ķīpsala. For the second year in a row, it was attended by foodies of all ages in large numbers, including members of the media, bloggers and influencers, who enjoyed delicious burgers, the pleasure of meeting again and a range of other fun activities throughout the evening. The widely known culinary expert Anna Panna provided demonstrations of delicious and original barbecue meals, offering guests six meat and vegetarian options to suit every taste, prepared using the diverse Hellmann’s BBQ sauces.

At the start of the summer event, guests could explore the barbecue recipes created by Anna Panna and learn how to make a mouth-watering breaded fish burger and portobello mushroom burger, an excellent steak sandwich, a meat-and-vegetable hot dog and a grilled vegetable salad with goat’s cheese and sweet potato fries, while also sharing various valuable tips on culinary arts and grilling. Immediately afterwards, guests could enjoy delicious and aromatic meat and vegetarian burgers, original hot dogs and French fries, prepared by the restaurant’s chefs, who drew inspiration from Anna Panna’s recipes and combined the diverse Hellmann’s barbecue sauces with golden Fazer Street Food buns and high-quality NOO Cepeškungs chicken and beef.

Throughout the event, all the foodies could also refresh themselves with Mežpils beer, Aldaris non-alcoholic radler, Borjomi mineral water and cooling Ben&Jerry’s ice cream. And to keep the cheerful mood going throughout the rest of the evening, guests were invited to take part in other entertainment activities as well: posing by the special Hellmann’s photo wall, spinning the wheel of fortune and winning enjoyable prizes from Hellmann’s, Fazer and NOO Cepeškungs, having a personal caricature portrait created by the skilled artist Gatis Šļūka, moving to the summery beats of DJ Kaspars Erminass and leisurely enjoying the atmosphere of the barbecue party, along with the picturesque terrace view of the Daugava.
