Programming Competition for Young People “Turn the World”
Schoolchildren and young people are invited to participate in the programming
competition “Turn the World!”, organised by the Representation of the European Commission in
Latvia in cooperation with the URDA Nature and Technology Park
and the non-governmental organisation “European Movement in Latvia”. The competition’s
aim is to select a team that will develop the digital circular economy game
“Turn the World!” by 1 August 2021.
According to the organisers, teams of schoolchildren are invited to participate in the competition—at least three schoolchildren and one adult, the team captain (teacher, school principal, parent or mentor). An unlimited number of teams from one school or extracurricular education institution may participate in the competition.
The competition for creative solutions for a circular economy game will be held remotely until 30 April. To enter the competition, the team captain must submit the team’s application electronically by 23:55 on 30 April 2021, by completing the application form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd4yR2YRa5re6LoYEBK8u0_LoXGuuQT6Dg_sRz_Ync82M2sXA/viewform .
The three competition teams that receive the highest scores from the jury will be invited to present their creative solutions online. The winners of the competition will receive a cash prize of EUR 1,000.
