Applications are now being accepted for the vacant position of Architect at the Preiļi Municipality Construction Authority.

The Preiļi Municipality Administration is accepting applications until 3:30 p.m. on 5 June for the vacant position of Architect at the Preiļi Municipality Construction Authority.

Persons who have the following qualifications may apply for the position of Architect at the Preiļi Municipality Construction Authority:

• second-level professional higher education in architecture, in an architecture study programme;

• the right to practise independently in the architectural profession;

• at least two years of independent practice in architecture after obtaining an architect’s practice certificate;

• very good knowledge of legislation in the fields of construction and architecture, as well as of the application of administrative procedure, and the ability to apply it in the performance of everyday duties;

• the ability to perform an architect’s duties responsibly and independently and to prepare documents in accordance with the requirements of legislation governing records management and construction, as well as urban planning and spatial planning;

• state-language proficiency at the highest level (“C” level, degree 2), and knowledge of one foreign language is desirable (“B” level);

• user-level computer and information-system skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, word processors, spreadsheets, presentations and email clients, and specialised computer graphics programmes);

• work experience in municipal or state service is desirable.

The expected remuneration for the position of Architect at the Construction Authority starts at EUR 1,150.00.
