Exhibition of Paintings and Art Objects by Sandra Delgalve “Frida Kahlo”

Artist Sandra Delgalve lives in Saulkrasti and began painting under the influence of her husband, artist Jānis Delgalvis. She is an admirer of the work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and has arranged a space in the upper floor of the “JD ART” art studio in Saulkrasti with portraits of this extraordinary personality and various items. When Sandra first acquired books, jewelry, and mugs, she did not plan for such a large and vibrant collection themed around the famous painter Frida Kahlo.

In Sandra Delgalve's eyes, Frida Kahlo is a model of femininity with an admirable love for herself and life. It was also the film about Frida Kahlo that helped Sandra discover her own creative spirit and dream of painting.

The exhibition “Frida Kahlo” at Salgale Community Center showcases 22 oil paintings and various art objects.

The exhibition is open for free on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
