Traffic Restrictions in Mārupe on 11 September During the MTB Cycling Marathon

This coming Sunday, 11 September, MTB mountain biking races for cycling enthusiasts of all ages will return to Mārupe Municipality after a two-year break, featuring an even more exciting course and a new distance. To ensure the successful running of the sporting event, various traffic restrictions will be in place in Mārupe Municipality on 11 September.
Traffic restrictions while accompanying the athletes:
When groups of athletes are passing, traffic will be stopped in both directions if the group occupies both lanes of the carriageway. If the groups are small, only the lane in the direction of travel will be stopped. The movement of emergency vehicles will not be obstructed during the races. The races will be suspended at such times. The safety of the participants on the course will be ensured by vehicle and motorcycle units of the State Road Police.

Mazcenu Alley (the section from the Jaunmārupe water tower to V19) – V19 (Loka Road) – V21 – the section to Priežu Road – V24 – the animal farm – V14 (Skulte Street) – Turlavas Street (from Beberbeķu 9th Line to Beberbeķu 7th Line) – Beberbeķu 7th Line (from Turlavas Street to Krotes Street) – Krotes Street (from Beberbeķu 7th Line to Beberbeķu 6th Line) – Beberbeķu 6th Line (from Krotes Street to Beberbeķu Street) – crossing of the A5 – Ziedkalnu Street – V21 (Loka Road).
Traffic restrictions are scheduled from 11:00 to 14:20.

Traffic restrictions are scheduled from 12:10 to 15:00.

Traffic restrictions from 11:00 to 15:00 are also scheduled at the event venue: on the section of Loka Road from Ozolu Street to Mazcenu Alley, at the intersection of Ozolu Street and Loka Road, and at the intersection of Mazcenu Alley and Loka Road.
