At the end of last week, more than two thousand women took part in the annual adventure and car-orienteering competition, the “Women's Day Rally”, which for the first time was held not only in Riga, but also in Valmiera and Dobele. The “Ātras un bez tušas” team celebrated victory on the Vidzeme route, while the crew named “evelostore.lv” triumphed on the Zemgale route.
A total of 702 crews took part in the eighth “Women's Day Rally”, statistically the largest number in the history of the event. In both cities, the participants created a special carnival atmosphere and delighted local residents with their colourful appearance, diverse visual styles and the interesting designs of their cars, created in accordance with their team names.
As part of the awards ceremony, in addition to honouring the winners of the first three places, awards were presented in several categories.

Detailed information on the overall results of the “Women's Day Rally” is available in the “Results” section of the website www.womensdayrally.com.
