Snabb also takes over parking management at the Novira Plaza office complex

Continuing to improve urban mobility and develop the availability of public parking in the capital’s city centre, parking operator Snabb took over management of the underground car park at the Novira Plaza business complex in April this year. With the change of operator, drivers now have more convenient and diverse payment options, making the use of the car park even more accessible in everyday life.

Novira Plaza is a modern Class A business complex in the centre of Riga, commissioned in 2024. The seven-storey building stands out for its high energy efficiency and compliance with strict workplace safety standards. It is also certified in accordance with LEED Gold sustainability requirements, ensuring a particularly high-quality working environment for its tenants. The car park, located on two underground levels, has an entrance from Elizabetes Street. Level -1 is intended for Novira Plaza office tenants and visitors, while level -2 currently offers 96 public parking spaces, with plans to increase this number in the future.

Until now, payment for using the Novira Plaza car park was possible only through the Mobilly app. However, with the start of cooperation with Snabb, visitors to the complex now have several convenient payment options available—both in the Mobilly and Snabb mobile apps and at the payment terminals located on site near the exit area. This solution significantly improves the user experience and provides a wider range of options to meet different customer needs. At the same time, the introduction of additional payment methods encourages more frequent use of the car park and thereby also contributes to an overall increase in the building owner’s revenue.

The car park’s location in Riga’s vibrant city centre also makes it particularly attractive to both visitors to the city and local residents. In addition, several hotels are located nearby, where parking capacity is limited, making the public car park a convenient alternative for hotel guests as well. The set parking fee is €1.25 per 30 minutes and €18 per 24 hours, equivalent to the Zone A rate.
