Snabb begins managing car parks at three more Radisson hotels in Riga
Continuing its expansion in Latvia and strengthening its existing cooperation with the international Radisson hotel group, car park operator Snabb will now manage parking facilities at three more hotels in the capital—Radisson Blu Hotel & SPA Daugava, Radisson Blu Ridzene and Park Inn by Radisson Riga Valdemara. The public car parks at the Radisson Blu Daugava and Radisson Blu Ridzene hotels began operating in February, while the car park at Park Inn by Radisson Riga Valdemara will become available in June this year.
Until now, the car parks at Radisson Blu Hotel & SPA Daugava and Radisson Blu Ridzene were managed by the hotels themselves, while the Radisson Blu Ridzene car park on Reimersa Street was available exclusively to hotel guests. By placing the facilities under Snabb’s management, the car parks will now also be accessible to the wider public, providing more convenient and well-planned parking options in central Riga and its surrounding area. As a result of the expanded cooperation, Snabb will in total manage the car parks at five Radisson hotels in Riga, offering nearly 200 additional public parking spaces and thereby significantly strengthening its presence in the hospitality sector.
At all three hotels, customers will have several convenient payment options, including digital payments using the Snabb and Mobilly mobile apps. Hotel guests will also be able to pay for parking conveniently at the hotel reception and reserve a parking space in advance to guarantee themselves a space upon arrival. At the Radisson Blu Hotel & SPA Daugava car park, a licence plate recognition camera system will additionally be introduced, along with payment terminals in the exit area, enabling drivers to pay even if they have not paid in advance.
“Snabb has already been managing the car parks at the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & SPA and Radisson Blu Elizabete hotels, and by expanding our cooperation with the Radisson hotel group, which has a strong presence in Riga, our aim is to continue providing technologically advanced and user-friendly solutions for both hotel guests and other drivers. A modern car park is not merely a place to leave a car—it is part of a well-organised urban environment. Through digital solutions, flexible payment options and modern automation, we want to make getting around Riga more convenient and easier for everyone to understand,” emphasises Kaspars Dolgis, Snabb’s Head of Business Development in Latvia.
“We are confident that the new solutions—including the option to reserve a parking space in advance, as well as modern automation—will significantly simplify the arrival and stay experience for guests. Our aim is to provide the highest-quality experience every time, and a well-planned, conveniently accessible car park is an important part of that experience,” comments Mihals Grobelnijs, General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel & SPA Daugava and Park Inn by Radisson Riga Valdemara.
