The Youth Sports Festival “Try It and Find Your Sport!” Is Just One Week Away!
On 11 October 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00, the youth sports festival "Try It and Find Your Sport!" will take place at the Tukums Sports Hall. It is organised by the movement promotion initiative “Be Active” in cooperation with Tukums Sports School and with the support of Tukums Municipality.
The aim of the festival is to encourage young people to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle by offering them the opportunity to discover different sports and find the physical activities best suited to them. The event will have a positive and inspiring atmosphere, where young people can find motivation to lead an active lifestyle and understand the importance of sport in everyday life.
More than 500 young people aged up to 16 will have the opportunity to participate in the event. Each participant will be able to try different sports, watch demonstrations, meet well-known athletes and find the physical activity best suited to them. In addition to the sporting activities, there will also be concerts featuring performances by well-known young Latvian musicians and artists, creating a festive atmosphere for all participants.
Athletes, sports clubs and companies wishing to participate in the event, representing their sport or providing financial support, are invited to contact the organisers.
