From the beginning of the month, licensed taxis operating throughout Liepāja will be available through the app. The Taxify service will not only be convenient to use, but will also offer a competitive pricing policy compared with other passenger transport providers: the standard starting fare will be €0.99, the price per kilometre €0.49/km, and waiting time €0.15 per minute. During periods of higher demand, dynamic pricing will apply in the app. Taxify customers in Liepāja will also be offered various introductory promotions. 


“The number of Taxify customers in Riga continues to grow every month, and entering other regions of Latvia is simply the logical next step. Liepāja is a dynamic seaside city with significant market potential, where almost 70,000 people live year-round. In addition, during the summer months it attracts a large number of tourists every year, not only from other Latvian cities but also from near and far abroad. Given the existing demand, the number of taxis available through the app will be increased over time, also by attracting private drivers. We therefore invite anyone interested to join Taxify by completing the application form on the website www.taxify.eu,” comments Kārlis Ķezberis, Taxify’s head in Latvia.
