The President of Latvia has promulgated amendments to the Law on Assistance to Ukrainian Civilians. Consequently, Ukrainian civilians have the right to visit state museums in Latvia free of charge by presenting an identity document or another document confirming that the person is a Ukrainian civilian.
A museum is a place of safety, peace and opportunities for learning! This kind of atmosphere is especially needed by those who have arrived from Ukraine at present, so the state museums under the authority of the Ministry of Culture and their branches invite people from Ukraine to visit their exhibitions and displays.

State museums under the authority of other ministries are also freely accessible to Ukrainian civilians:

Municipal, private and other museums in Latvia have also joined the group of support providers on their own initiative and offer free admission or discounts to people from Ukraine. We encourage you to inquire about the offers at the respective museums.

    See you at the museums
