“URBAN / ABSTRACT”.
At the art gallery “Doors,” paintings by Paula Stutina and ceramics by Megija Zonne are on display in the exhibition “URBAN / ABSTRACT”.
Artist Megija Zonne: "The works can be perceived as my personal memory spaces, with emotionally layered nuances. The works are not only testimonies of emotional time but also a fixation of rapidly changing urban environments on immutable porcelain surfaces that have irreversibly altered structures. Painting spherical surfaces allows depicting seemingly familiar landscapes while creating new, non-existent places that endlessly continue within themselves, thus introducing dimensions of eternity and infinite space into the works."
Artist Paula Stutina: "Abstract art is important to me because the focus is not on what is depicted in it, but on the emotions, feelings, events, and associations it evokes (both for the artist and the viewer). One of the goals of my creative work is to stir the inner world of a person. Similar to music, abstract art touches each individual personally and uniquely. All you need to do is let yourself, listen within, and believe in what you hear. I want to invite each of you to see something for yourself - all answers, feelings, and reflections are genuine."
Free admission. Exhibition from November 2 to December 12.
