Entrepreneurs’ Days to Take Place Online This Year
The Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), in cooperation with the city of Jelgava, invites entrepreneurs and everyone interested to take part in the opportunities festival “Entrepreneurs’ Days in Zemgale 2021”, which will take place in a virtual format on 22 and 23 April on a special online communication platform, broadcast from a studio in Jelgava.
LCCI representative I. Brice reports that the virtual exhibition will bring together more than 100 Latvian entrepreneurs. It will take place on an interactive platform created specifically for the event, where participants will be able to create their own profiles, post information about their companies with photographs and video materials, and upload documents for download. This will enable them to communicate with visitors online and plan a meeting schedule, including establishing international contacts. This year, Entrepreneurs’ Days also features special cooperation with companies in Ukraine. Entrepreneurs can apply to participate in the event at www.uznemejudienas.lv/zemgale .
On 22 April, the Entrepreneurs’ Days events will take place in three parallel sections – from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be both a virtual exhibition of participants, where visitors can learn more about local companies, and webinars offering interested parties the opportunity to explore topics relevant to specific companies.
Meanwhile, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on 22 April, a virtual open day will be held for vocational and higher education institutions, providing an opportunity to learn about educational programmes in demand among entrepreneurs and the opportunities they offer.
On 23 April, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the virtual exhibition of participants will continue, while in parallel, from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., the business forum “Green City. Technology. Sustainability” will take place. It will address entrepreneurship amid climate change, environmentally friendly and sustainable business, and the experience of green companies in Zemgale, as well as the growth of green cities in the region. Additional information about the events is available at www.uznemejudienas.lv/zemgale.
Anyone interested can become a virtual visitor to the event and follow it on the event platform, which will be available on the website, social media and the www.tvnet.lv portal. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required for the activities here: https://www.mitto.me/uznemeju-dienas/registracija . After registering, participants will receive platform access details by email, allowing them to log in to and browse the Entrepreneurs’ Days platform even before the online events begin.
