Companies Employing People with Disabilities Can Apply for a Special Recognition Mark

The special mark was created as part of the Ministry of Welfare’s campaign “Doing Things Differently – Achieving the Same!”, to increase recognition of socially responsible companies and encourage other companies to choose to employ people with disabilities.

The digital package will also include badges bearing the slogan “Doing Things Differently – Achieving the Same!”, which, if employees with disabilities so wish, can be produced as pins for work uniforms, informing customers that a person with a disability works there.

Applications for the company recognition mark may be sent to the email address iu@lm.gov.lv.
