Learn About Government Support Programmes for Overcoming the Negative Effects of COVID-19

The State Revenue Service (VID) administers several government support programmes for overcoming the negative effects of COVID-19, such as “Support for Businesses and Their Employees During Downtime”, “Support for Wage Subsidies for Part-Time Employees”, “Grant for Ensuring Cash Flow for Working Capital”, and others.

Applications for support must be submitted by completing the application form in the VID Electronic Declaration System (EDS). Since the programmes were launched, the eligibility criteria for receiving support have been amended and the range of eligible recipients has been expanded. New support mechanisms have also been introduced.

To avoid missing the opportunity to receive government support, we invite Ventspils businesses and other interested parties to join the information session on the ZOOM platform on 12 April at 3:30 p.m., where participants will be able to learn about the latest developments concerning the government support programmes overseen by the VID and ask questions of Santa Garanča, Director of the Tax Payment Promotion Administration.
