The vaccination process will be organised closer to residents
The vaccination process will henceforth be organised closer to residents – in the near future, at least 25 new vaccination points are planned to be established throughout the country, while mobile vaccination will also be developed, according to the informative report of the Ministry of Health reviewed and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on 15 July.
Each of the new vaccination points will be staffed by at least one healthcare team, which could serve an average of 300 people per day, providing up to 7,500 vaccinations per week. It is also planned to actively organise walk-in mobile vaccination, including at public events organised by private companies (concerts and similar events).
COVID-19 vaccination continues throughout Latvia, and the service is available to all adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. People can register for vaccination, choosing a specific vaccination location and time, at manavakcina.lv or by calling 8989.
