Ventspils Technical School Can Be Visited on a Virtual 360⁰ Tour
Ventspils
Technical School has improved its website by supplementing it with up-to-date information, as well as developing a virtual 360⁰ tour that provides an excellent opportunity to explore our infrastructure, technical equipment and classrooms in 360⁰ virtual reality.
Ventspils Technical School is an educational institution that actively explores opportunities to cooperate with professional partners on various projects, so that the school is modern and many young people in Latvia can obtain a competitive education there. One such project is “Small Cities of the Next Generation in Europe”, which brings together 10 partners from Ventspils and Valmiera. As part of the project, various innovative technologies were introduced in 2019, 2020 and 2021, including a 360⁰ virtual reality tour that allows anyone interested to visit our school and explore the school’s classrooms, cafeteria and dormitory facilities.
The director of Ventspils Technical School, K. Vāgnere-Davidova, emphasises: “At a time when various restrictions have been imposed due to the spread of COVID-19 and in-person events cannot be organised, it is especially important to make use of all the opportunities provided by modern technology to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to view Ventspils Technical School and develop an interest in vocational education.”
The total area covered by the virtual tour is 6,000 m², which is equivalent to nearly the size of one football pitch. Therefore, before embarking on a virtual journey through Ventspils Technical School, make sure you have a good internet connection and settle comfortably at your digital device.
