Starting October 15th, all over Latvia, the British playwright Donald Churchill's stage hit “A Crazy Good Day” will be presented in Dž.Dž. Džilindžers's witty production. It's a comedy that shatters the shell of civility and shakes out everything we hide in our daily lives. This is one of Churchill's most frequently staged plays, cherished by theaters worldwide for several decades. After its premiere at Watford Palace Theatre, it embarked on a triumphant tour across the United Kingdom, enjoyed ten years of success in Germany, applause in France, and audience ovations in at least 25 other countries, including the USA, Italy, South Africa, and Israel. And now – in Latvia!

“A Crazy Good Day” delves into the backstage of England's high society. Where apparent politeness and sophistication reign, tension, jealousy, and a desire for justice, or at least a proper revenge, actually simmer beneath the surface. Unexpected twists, poorly masked emotions, and unabashed passions – such will be the unfolding of a summer afternoon when all the characters, whether by chance or intention, meet in a London apartment. A decorator with actor ambitions, brushes, and Shakespeare in his backpack, a temperamental society lady with a plan that must not be ruined, and an angry “ex” with a wooden mallet, a desire for revenge, and a need to “tell it all”... What could go wrong? EVERYTHING!!!
