On June 21st, the summer solstice celebrations will take place at the Ciemupe stage, marking the hundredth solstice celebrated in Ogre District. At 18:00, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a wreath-making workshop, while at 19:00, the 'Sound Garden' folk kokle ensemble will await with a workshop on Midsummer songs and games.
Both locals and guests will be welcomed to dance and play together with the Skujiņa-Valaiņa family.
Attendance to the event is free!
It's not the solstice without a green ball! On June 23rd, from 22:00 to 3:00, everyone is invited to a ball where the Ogre District band 'Kanēlis' will perform and share positive emotions.
