Summer is coming to an end, and we still need to celebrate several events. Planning to go somewhere with friends and family?

On September 14, from 11:00 to 15:00, Michaelmas celebrations and market GARDU MUTI | GREENFEST will take place in Valmiermuiža Park.

Michaelmas marks the conclusion of the hard work, with everything harvested during the summer being brought to the table. To honor the celebrations, on September 14 from 11:00 to 15:00, traders from far and wide will gather in Valmiermuiža, bringing vegetables, cheeses, meats, fish, and other delicacies to enjoy and supplement winter supplies. Craftsmen will provide clay dishes, metalwork, wooden crafts, baskets, and colorful items. Everyone will have the opportunity to explore traditions, participate in various workshops, enjoy a concert, and go on tours with the Valmiermuiža Manor household.

We will delve into sustainable living and farming practices through conversations and discussions together with the GreenFest eco-thinking festival.

At 13:00, a folk group concert with beer songs will delight us. We will also learn about the ancient traditions of Michaelmas and the wisdom of our ancestors, welcoming the upcoming winter season.

In traditional and sustainable workshops, you can discover new flavors and test your knowledge in identifying various plant seeds.
