Informative Ropaži Stories

In the historical park on the small stage throughout the day, various thematic stories will be presented – about the Ropaži Manor and Lante Manor, the creation of the Ropaži Parish memory book, and we will meet Ropaži locals – motorsport legends and new stars. Visitors can participate in a master class for making traditional Latvian footwear, create their own greeting for Ropaži, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the Ropaži formal attire project. Throughout the day, there will also be an opportunity to visit the Ropaži Evangelical Lutheran Church, where representatives of the congregation will be available to answer questions about the church's reconstruction, the Ropaži light garden, or any other inquiries, and it will be possible to climb the church tower. On the following day, August 3, 2025, a church service can be attended.

Family Zone and Activities

Children and families can enjoy pony rides, visit a mini zoo, explore the knight station, military equipment, and try their hand at activities in the “Carpenter’s Workshop.” A creative workshop “Ropaži Impression” will be available, where everyone interested can create a clay souvenir with a historical imprint – a unique keepsake from this celebration. Additionally, in cooperation with “Talent City,” a “Calligraphy Masterclass” will be available, where we will write a beautiful greeting for Ropaži.

Calligraphy and Greeting Writing Workshop

From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, there will be a calligraphy and greeting writing workshop, as well as alphabet and letter games as part of the project "Handwriting Rescue Bell." The event is financially supported by the Society Integration Fund from the Latvian state budget. The association Culture and Education Studio “Talent City” is responsible for the project content.

Sports and Shows

In the basketball court, a 3*3 tournament will take place, where the best teams from the Ropaži region will compete. In the beach volleyball court, there will be a demonstration tournament of the little-known sport “Catch and Serve the Ball,” as well as leisure activities and challenges available for all age groups. We will witness dynamic and breathtaking performances from the “Greentrials” bike show team.

Music and Evening Events

From 12:00 PM, we will enjoy a concert by amateur art groups on the main stage, and in the evening, the festive atmosphere will be invigorated by beloved Latvian bands: “Citi Zēni” and “Latvian Blues Band.” After the band performances, we will witness a fire show by artists on the Jugla River by the open-air stage. Additionally, there will be a green ball with the band “Dakota” and a DJ until 2:00 AM.

The Birthday Feeling

As in real birthday celebrations, we will enjoy a birthday cake. In the dining area, a variety of food and drinks will be available to suit different tastes.
