Ozolkalns ski trails are among the longest in Latvia. 3 of them reach a length of 500 meters. In total, there are 4 permanent trails, a snowboard cross, and a free-ride trail, which are created when weather conditions are favorable. The complex features chairlifts and two rope tows, allowing skiing and snowboarding without queues. Various activities are available in each season, and visitors should stay informed and choose the ones that interest them the most. Experienced instructors are ready to assist those who have never been here and don't know what to do. Before going on the trails, visitors must sign the Adventure Park usage agreement and complete the training course. During the training, the instructor will explain the safety rules and demonstrate how to use the safety harness.
The Ozolkalns Adventure Park 'Supervāvere' is very popular, with over 60 attractions including aerial rope courses, obstacles, zip lines, and free falls. The park is located in the territory of Gauja National Park, so the breathtaking views often captivate visitors. Moreover, the safety fixtures of the attractions are designed not to harm the trees. Ropes, cables, and wooden platforms are designed to preserve the park's natural landscape.
The park offers several trails suitable for different abilities and skills: a children's and warm-up trail for children from the age of 6 and those who want to learn the skills for more difficult trails. The fitness trail is next in difficulty, with more challenging and higher obstacles, while the Adventure trail with 25 obstacles is designed for those ready to demonstrate their abilities and courage in a 1200-meter obstacle course.
When purchasing a ticket, visitors can enjoy the attractions for 3 hours. This is enough time to complete all the trails and even repeat some.
The 'Supervāvere' Adventure Park is accessible not only during the day but also at night during special 'Jāņtārpiņu' nights. It should be noted that a group must consist of at least 8 people. For an additional fee, visitors can warm up by the bonfire and grill sausages before or after going on the attractions, or stay overnight in tents or cabins at the Ozolkalns campground. The camping area is spacious enough for 30 tents and provides a shared shelter, tables, several bonfire spots, and electricity.
On the banks of the Gauja River, there is the Ozolkalns campground with 6 cozy cabins, each accommodating 4-5 people. The Forest House has 10 sleeping places. Interested visitors can use the Ozolkalns sauna before or after their activities. The sauna can accommodate up to 8 people at a time, but during warm weather, the spacious terrace can also be used, with tables available for up to 20 people. Ozolkalns Recreation Park offers relaxation and entertainment opportunities for everyone who enjoys outdoor activities and thrilling experiences!
