Church of Saint Mary of Grīva in Kalkūne Add an Object
Kalkūne manorowner Ettingers donated the land in Grīva for the construction of a church and farm buildingsand with the permission of the governor the construction of the church began in 1882. according to the architect Vilhelms Neimaņs project. According to legend,the church was built on the spot where the Virgin Mary appeared.
