Latgale Zoo Add an Object

Various exotic animals, monkeys, lemurs, crocodiles, crabs, iguanas, scorpions, and other inhabitants of tropical forests and Latvian landscapes live in the zoo's exhibition and laboratory. Visitors can observe the animals in the exhibition, as well as book a guided tour, attend thematic sessions in the conference hall, participate in nature-related contests, and engage in other activities. The zoo's staff conducts research in the fields of ecology, zooculture, and ecological pedagogy, studying animal life and striving to preserve endangered Latvian animal species.
