Monument to Pavel Dubrovins Add an Object

Pavel Dubrovins served as the head of the city of Dinaburg (now Daugavpils) for approximately 15 years and left a good memory of himself. Pavel Dubrovins was born into a noble family in the Pskov Governorate. He received an excellent education in St. Petersburg. In his youth, Pavel Dubrovins served in the army. In 1864, he became the leader of the mediators (who acted as intermediaries between the nobility and peasants) in Dinaburg. His intelligent and capable administration was highly valued in this city. In 1874, Pavel Dubrovins became the director of the public bank of Dinaburg, and in 1876, he was elected as the mayor of Dinaburg for the first time.
