Sculpture "Fight with a Centaur" Add an Object
The sculpture "Fight with a Centaur" is the outstanding diploma work of the sculptor Karlis Janson, with which he finished the Academy of Arts in 1925. For many years, it was kept in the workshop in plaster until 1977 when it was cast in bronze and installed in the square of Great Catherine Street. Over time, the sculpture has become one of the most expressive symbols of the city.
