The Janson Family Sculptors' House "SIĻĶES" Add an Object
The Janson Family Sculptors' House "Siļķes" - it consists of two workshops specifically built for sculpture and stone carving. The sculptor Matiass Jansons works here. This is the place where sculptures have been created by the sculptors Prof. Kārlis Jansons, Andrejs Jansons, and Maija Baltiņa, and for many years it has served as the summer study base for the Latvian Academy of Art. Visitors can not only observe the work process and studios but also explore the outdoor sculpture garden.
