Old Brewery Add an Object
The Old Brewery (visible from the outside), also known as the Beer Bruze, was built in 1878. Its owner was Count Emanuels Ziverss. In 1922, several entrepreneurs from Cesis bought the brewery from the Ziverss family, and during this time, the brewery also produced wine, juices, and mineral water. From 1976 to 2001, beer and refreshing drinks were produced here under the brand "Cesis Beer." Currently, the Old Brewery has been transformed into a modern exhibition center, where various types and styles of art exhibitions are held every August during the Art Festival.
