Old Brewery Add an Object
The Old Brewery (visible from the outside), also known as Beer Bruzis, was built in 1878. Its owner was Count Emanuels Zivers. In 1922, several entrepreneurs from Cesis bought the brewery from the Zivers family, and during this time, wine, juices, and mineral water were also produced here. From 1976 to 2001, beer and refreshing drinks were produced here under the brand "Cesis Beer". Currently, the Old Brewery has become a modern exhibition center where various types and styles of art exhibitions are held every year during the Art Festival in August.
