Church of Saint Mary of Grīva in Kalkūne
The land in Grīva was donated by the manor owner Ettingers for the construction of a Catholic church and farm buildings, and with the permission of the governor, the construction of the church began in 1882.

Consecrated in 2004. Located in A. Pumpura Square, where the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Prince was previously located. St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral was built in 1864.

St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church
Built in 1848-1849, rebuilt from 1924 to 1934. The architecture of the church shows elements of classicism. Visually, it resembles St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.
